New Delhi: Before the start of IPL 2020, every player is trying to make this big tournament memorable in their own way. The teams and their staffs are leaving no point to make this upcoming T20 league as the memorable one that too in the period of COVID-19.
While some veteran players have started their own youtube channel to express their views on cricket then on other side there are some players who are attending the talk show in order to discuss about the various happenings around the world.
Meanwhile, Australia’s dangerous all-rounder Glenn Maxwell picked his all-time favorite IPL XI during a conversation on Cricbuzz talk show. He chose this team during his interaction with the most famous and veteran cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle.
In his team, Maxwell has chosen left-arm explosive batsman David Warner and Indian team captain Virat Kohli as an opener in his team. At number three there he established the South African star batsman AB de Villiers, who plays with Virat Kohli in Royal Challengers Bangalore team. India’s left-handed batsman Suresh Raina has been placed at number four while Glenn Maxwell kept himself on the fifth position.
Maxwell has placed West Indies explosive all-rounder Andre Russell at 6th position also, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders. At number 7, there is none another than the Jersey Number seven himself. At that position he has kept Chennai Super Kings captain and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Speaking for bowlers in his team, on the 8th, India’s veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh is present, on the 9th , there is fast bowler Mohit Sharma. At number 10, India’s superb swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is placed and on 11th Indian fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah is present who play his IPL matches for Mumbai Indians.
The surprising part is, Maxwell has not selected anyone as captain for his team. He has just named the eleven players who will make a perfect IPL 11.
Maxwell’s IPL XI looks like this: -
David Warner, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Suresh Raina, Glenn Maxwell, Andre Russell, Mahendra Singh Dhoni(WK), Harbhajan Singh, Mohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jaspreet Bumrah.
