Southampton: The first practice match of Australia's limited overs team visiting England was washed out in the rain on Friday. The T20 match being played between two teams of Australian players. In this T20 match, the team led by national team captain Aaron Finch (Finch XI) scored 150 runs in 20 overs after batting first.

Chasing the target, the vice-captain Pat Cummins-led team (Cummins XI) was batting in the sixth over when the rain disrupted and further play was not possible. The team's score at this time was 60 runs in 5.5 overs with no loss.

Earlier for Finch XI, captain Finch and David Warner shared a 75-run partnership for 9.2 overs for the first wicket. The Australian team will now play two more practice matches.
